1. Foundational Safety Principles

AchievEdge E-Learning is committed to providing a secure, encouraging, and pedagogically sound environment for students from Class 1 to Class 12. We believe that Artificial Intelligence in education must serve as an uplifting mentor—encouraging inquiry, curiosity, and critical thinking—while rigorously preventing digital harm.

2. Responsible AI & Pedagogical Guardrails

Our proprietary system prompt instructions for Edgie AI Tutor enforce the following safety guardrails:

• Socratic Inquiry Over Direct Copying: Edgie provides progressive hints, formulas, and conceptual explanations rather than completing school homework outright.
• Strict Curriculum Scope: Interactions are confined to approved school subjects: Mathematics, Science, Social Sciences, English, and regional curriculum topics. Non-academic, political, violent, or sensitive queries are politely deflected.
• Age-Appropriate Vocabulary: Language complexity, metaphors, and tone automatically calibrate to the child's recorded grade level (Class 1–5 foundational vs Class 11–12 advanced).
• Hallucination Minimization: If a factual formula or historical date is uncertain, Edgie acknowledges the limitation and directs the student to their designated NCERT or state textbook.

3. Automated Moderation & Harm Prevention

Every input sent to Edgie AI Tutor undergoes automated keyword and intent screening. Any attempts to generate hate speech, self-harm discussions, sexually suggestive content, cyberbullying, or predatory interactions are immediately blocked, logged safely in the administrative security audit trail, and flagged for human review.

4. Prohibition of Addictive Dark Patterns

We design for authentic learning, not screen addiction. AchievEdge does not use predatory loot boxes, manipulative countdown timers that cause anxiety, or aggressive push notifications designed to create unhealthy device dependency. Practice streaks are celebratory, encouraging positive study habits without guilt-tripping notifications.

5. Parental Transparency

Parents have complete transparency into their child's AI Tutor conversations, test results, and question mistake records via the PIN-protected Parent/Guardian Mode.
