Billing & Wallet Rules

Subscription and Credit Policy

Published by EIBO SERVICES PVT LTD • Governs Subscriptions, Limits & Learning Coins

1. Plan Allowances & Billing Cycles

AchievEdge subscription plans provide structured access to educational modules. Each plan includes specific numerical allowances for:

  • Monthly Plans: Limits reset automatically on the monthly anniversary date of plan activation. Unused allowances do not roll over to subsequent months.
  • Annual Plans: Limits apply across the full 12-month billing period, allowing students greater flexibility during peak pre-board exam months.
  • Free Starter Plan: Provides baseline monthly revision (5 tests, 100 practice questions, 10 AI responses) renewed at the start of each calendar month.

2. Authoritative Usage Counting Definitions

To ensure fair usage and prevent duplicate debits, the following definitions apply:

  • Test Attempt: Counted upon qualifying test completion or final submission. Reopening a previously evaluated test report or review screen does not consume another test attempt.
  • Practice Question: Counted when a new practice question is presented under the active drill session. Refreshing the browser does not double-count.
  • AI Tutor Response: Counted only when the OpenAI backend successfully generates a curriculum-aligned explanation. Network errors or rejected queries are never charged.
  • Homework Assistance: Counted upon successful structured problem assistance generation.
  • AI-Generated Custom Test: Counted per complete test generated, not per individual question within it.

3. Learning Coins & Fair Micro-Debit Workflow

When a student exhausts their plan's included allowance for a given feature, they are never abruptly blocked or automatically charged. Instead:

  1. The system clearly informs the student: "You have completed all tests included in your plan. Continue with Learning Coins or explore plan upgrades."
  2. The exact coin cost (e.g., 10 coins for 1 test) is displayed with an explicit confirmation button.
  3. Coins are debited from the student wallet using ACID transactional database locking, preventing race conditions or double-spending.
  4. If an operation fails after confirmation, the reserved coins are automatically rolled back to the student's wallet balance.

4. Expiration of Coins & Promotional Balances

  • Purchased Coins: Remain valid for a minimum of 365 days from the date of purchase, or as long as an active account is maintained.
  • Promotional / Bonus Coins: Awarded as streak milestones or onboarding gifts may carry specific expiration windows as stated at the time of award.

5. Account Inquiries & Ledger Discrepancies

Students and parents can inspect every credit addition, deduction, and test attempt in the real-time Ledger inside the Student Wallet. If you identify any discrepancy, contact our billing desk:
